This post features another one of the commission pieces I finished and delivered last week. My dear friend Andrea and her husband Noah asked me to paint this for Noah’s sister, Allie, as a Christmas gift. What a sweet and thoughtful present!

Allie has two beautiful cats, Annabelle and Graycee, that she loves very much. I got to know Allie earlier this year when we were bridesmaids together in Andrea and Noah’s wedding. I was so excited to paint this piece because I knew Allie would be thrilled to receive it! I was right – Allie LOVES this painting and has messaged me several times to tell me just that! I absolutely love it when one of my paintings goes to such a loving home.

Allie snapped a few photos of the cats with their portrait. I think it is hysterical that Annabelle (top) looks exactly the same in the photo as she does in the painting! Allie says that is her signature pose.
