I am finally getting around to updating my blog with some paintings I completed late last year and early this year. I painted this commissioned portrait of Taylor to be given as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, Taylor passed away between the time I was commissioned to work on this piece and when it was given to the owner; I know this was a very emotional gift. I feel like I really captured the sparkle in Taylor’s eyes, and love the the way the light and dark play across her fur.
