I received this commission via my Etsy shop and shipped it to the customer who lives in New York City last week. The reference photo was taken at a family cabin in the Adirondacks in upstate New York and was commissioned as a birthday present for the customer’s husband. When the she received it last week, she wrote me to say:

“The painting is SO BEAUTIFUL. I am blown away. I’ll be giving it to my husband tonight for his bday, I full expect tears. THANK YOU!!”

I love hearing such positive feedback! This was an absolute pleasure to paint.
