This year, I have been fortunate enough to work on more commissioned paintings than ever before in my art career. The only downside is that I have less time to paint fun pieces just for myself. This summer, I squeezed in this set of 3 paintings. Rob and I have been wanting some artwork for our bedroom, so I painted this beach abstract to hang above our bed. It is a set of (3) 18×24 canvases that will hang side by side, with a few inches in between each one. I painted each of these using only a palette knife which was really fun! Palette knife paintings can be very liberating, plus the clean up is a cinch!
